I had come t0 the conclusion that God was a loving God and there was no hell because he created everything and put a lot of Love in it.

But I never even stopped to think about the sacrifice for our sins by the blood. God requiring Jesus to die for us i truly believe is untrue. It was a very political time and People sent Him to the cross not God, (correct me if I am wrong). Ancient writings confirms this to me. As you point out. There is no where in the NT that even suggests God required a price. Salvation is a gift to us for choosing to follow the teachings of Jesus and I believe th…

No, I think you're right. People, not God, sent Jesus to the cross. Jesus offered salvation without any linkage to his death or to sacrifice. Seven times we see him saying "your faith has saved you." The old idea of sacrifice as a payment to God needs to be dropped. That wasn't even the main idea of sacrifice in the Old Testament. The main purpose of Hebrew sacrifice was purification of the temple. But we don't need that any more, either, unless we are holding on to the ancient idea of impurity and cleansing.
